Our Star RAT is a heavily-modified take on the legendary Dallas Rangemaster, supercharged with a rare Soviet-era Germanium transistor for a tone that’s smooth, warm, and dripping with harmonic richness. Unlike the harsh bite of high-gain treble boosters, the Star RAT sits in the sweet spot—low gain, velvety texture, and endless musicality. It delivers fuller tones that push naturally into overdrive territory, evoking the heavy, molten sustain of Tony Iommi’s early Black Sabbath days.
