Inspired by classic Big Muff architecture and voiced by ear for exceptional clarity, dynamics, and harmonic depth. At its heart lies a hybrid Silicon & Germanium topology—combining the tight gain structure and punch of silicon with the soft, organic saturation of NOS germanium.

A Sustain control replaces the traditional volume control, giving you direct command over the character and intensity of the fuzz—from restrained, gritty textures to a raw, saturated wall of sound.

A three-position voicing switch lets you move from focused, Triangle-inspired bite to the dense, saturated bloom of a Ram’s Head. A tuned midrange recovery stage keeps the fuzz aggressive and unfiltered while giving it enough presence to cut through a live mix.

Designed to work exceptionally well with humbuckers, the Alpenflaum retains clarity and definition even with high-output pickups. Its wide, raw low-end response also makes it equally at home with bass guitar, delivering thick harmonic saturation without losing the character of the instrument.
